David L. “Brother Dave” Lecklet, 72, a native of Evangeline Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010.
Mr. Lecklet was a member of Christ Baptist Church and a member of BPOE Lodge 1193 of Houma.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Lecklet; sons, Kent (Kelly) and Keith (Aimee) Lecklet and Christopher Blanchard; daughters, Charlotte (Bill) Elsey, Gaynelle McKemie, Danielle Breaux, Jennifer Smith and Amy White; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24 at Falgout Funeral Home’s Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Christ Baptist Church followed by burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
