Local troops brace for life away from home
January 6, 2010David Luke Roger, 69, a native of St. Charles Parish, La., and resident of Tylertown, Miss., died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009.
He is survived by daughters, Darla Roger and Beth Roger; sisters, Eleanor Dufrene, Ivy Mae Detillier and Edvidge Troxler; and brother, Kenneth Roger.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Bourg Roger; father, Junius Roger; mother, Lottie Luke Roger; sister, Phyllis Cantrell; and brothers, Roy and Mark Roger.
N.L. Jones Funeral Home Directors in Tupelo, Miss., is in charge of arrangements.
