April 1, 2010Della Mae Barrilleaux, 83, a native and resident of Donner, La., died at 12:10 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010.
Mrs. Barrilleaux, who was known to family and friends as “Coo,” served as U.S. postmaster in Donner until her retirement.
She is survived by sisters, Clara (Howard) Thibodaux and Betty Big Horse; and special caregivers, Ruth Sanchez and Stephanie Leonard.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Organ and Air Conditioning Fund at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 2128 Bull Run Road, Schriever, LA 70395.
She is buried at St. Lawrence Catholic Church Cemetery in Chacahoula.
