Dolores “Dee” Nelson, 73, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Larose, La., died Friday, January 18, 2008, at 6:52 a.m.


She is survived by her sons, Donald Nelson and wife, Monica, Aubrey Nelson and Elrick Nelson, all of Larose; daughters, Elaine and husband, Kellup, of Westwego, La., Marion Dillard and husband, Melvin, of Marrero, La., Winifred Plummer and husband, Lloyd, of Terrytown, La., and Wanda Davis and husband, Louis, of Larose; brother, Harold Hagens of Chicago, Il.; sisters, Janice Richard and Inez Joseph, both of New Orleans; 26 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Nelson Jr.; her parents, Edward and Irene Hagens; one son, Isaac Nelson III; one daughter, Martha Nelson; one brother, Edward Hagens; and one sister, Ophelia Hagens.

Dolores was a homemaker.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2008, at St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church with a religious service to follow. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
