Delta Rita Orgeron, 78, a native of Gheens, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Kent (Deborah) Orgeron and Bryon (Victoria) Heron; daughters, Ruby (Curtis Sr.) Ledet, Paulette (Mark) Russell, Aline Oncale and Angelique (John) Prince; brother, Peter Dominique; sister, Emma Foret; daughter-in-law, Diane Orgeron; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph H. Orgeron; parents, Felix and Madeline Orgeron Dominique; one son, Joseph D. Orgeron; one brother, Gary Dominique; and two sisters, Elveria Commardelle and Dorothy Dupre.
She is buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose, La. (Falgout)
