Dennis “Denny” Martinez, 52, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Choupic, La., died Saturday, April 30, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Toni Duet Martinez; father, Jake Martinez; daughter, Whitney Martinez; brothers, Terry and Tommy Martinez; sisters, Nancy Goulas and Tori (Richie) Labat; mother and father-in-law, Henry and Georgette Duet; brothers-in-law, Craig (Lisa) and Darren (Dana) Duet; sisters-in-law, Sheri (Jim) Sothern and Lori (Todd) Naquin; and his nephews and nieces, Coby Nuss, Shelbi, Jace, and Luke Laba, Tyler and Sydney Sothern, Alexandra and Gabrielle Duet, Spencer and Carson Duet, Marcelle, Madeline, and Meredith Naquin.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Katie Lehman Martinez; and grandparents, Frank and Louise Lehman, and Whitney and Olympe Martinez.
He is buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery. (Landry’s)
