Dewey Allen Barras, 64, a native of Morgan City, La., and resident of Labadieville, La., died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Barras; mother, Louise Barras-Coupel; sons, Troy (Heather) and Ubain Barras; sisters, Betty (Dwight) Willoughby, Emma (Bill) Bedford, Victoria Johnson and JoAnn Zeringue; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Barras; and brother, Ubain Barras. (Landry’s)
