Dolly Walsh Richard, 91, a native of Scott, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday December 18, at 7:45 p.m.
She is survived by her son, David Edward Richards of Houston, Tx.; daughter-in-law, Nancy Kozak of Houma; son-in-law, Mike Kozak of Houma; brother, James V. Walsh of Beaumont, Tx.; sister, Amy W. Lavergne of Rayne, La.; grandchildren, Randy Richards, Laura Cauley, Jeffrey Richard and Katie Prestenbach; and great-grandchild, Jacob Cauley.
She was preceded in death by, her parents, Patrick and Andrea Stutes Walsh; husband, Claude Richard; son, Claude Daniel “Danny” Richard; daughter, Georgie H. Richard; brother, U.V. Walsh; and sister, Dessie Bennett.
She was a clothing store merchant and a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday December 22, at Chauvin Funeral Home with Liturgy of the word to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
