Dolores Leger, 82, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
Mrs. Leger was Catholic and enjoyed having the Bible read to her.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Elfer) Charpentier and Loretta (Daniel) Lorraine; son-in-law, Jack Fillinich; daughter-in-law, Sandra Leger; brothers, Carrol, Errol and Leonard Chouest; sister, Bessie Adams; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Leger; parents, Benton Sr. and Florida Cheramie Chouest; one son, Scott Leger Sr.; one daughter, Geraldine Fillinich; one brother, Benton Chouest Jr.; four sisters, Joyce Chouest, Annbell Kyle, Sadie Cheramie and Earline Bair; and one great-grandchild, Aria V. Leger.
She is buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Golden Meadow, La. (Samart-Mothe)
