Donald J. Besson, 89, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 9:34 a.m. Friday, December 5.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Dantin Besson; one son, Bruce Besson and wife Barbara; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Besson and Beatrice Baye Besson; one grandchild, and one sister, Dorothy Adema.
Visitation will be 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux with mass to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
