Don’ta “Two Penny” Stewart, 18, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Gibson, La., died Sunday, Oct. 4, due to a car accident.
He is survived by his father, Roosevelt Stewart; mother and step-father, Toni Lutcher Turner and Charles Turner; grandmother, Rosetta Stewart; three brothers, Kevin Delco Stewart, Roosevelt “R.J.” Stewart and Donrell Stewart; and one sister, Catina Jack and husband Larry Jack.
He was preceded in death by his step-brother, Herchel Lutcher; and grandparents, Rosa Lee Lewis Lutcher, Clarence Lewis, Joseph Stewart Sr.
He was Baptist and a member of Sun Light Baptist Church. He was a student at H.L. Bourgeois High School and enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing football.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Beulah Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Church of Christ Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
