Doris Mae Thibodeaux, 89, a resident of Berwick, La., died Monday, Jan. 9, 2012.

Mrs. Thibodeaux was special to many people. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, aunt and friend. She lived all of these roles with strength, kindness, love and laughter.


She is survived by her sons, Barry (Vicki) and Kurt (Belinda) Thibodeaux; daughters, Elaine (Wade) Cantrell, Alice (David) Begneaud and Peggy (Ben) Mayeaux; sister, Alice Jostandt; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Thibodeaux; parents, Weston and Althea Landry; daughter, Nancy Warner; and sister, Selma Fabre.

Interment was at Berwick Mausoleum. (Twin City)
