Doris Penney Boudreaux, 77, a native of Lockport, La., and a resident of Paradis, La., died Wednesday, April 8.

She is survived by her daughters, Myrna B. Rome and husband Wayne, and Marcia B. Kraemer and husband Edward, all of Paradis; sisters, Rita Barrios, Ethel Hinyup and Joyce Melancon; grandchildren, Wayne Rome Jr., Shawn Rome, Brant Rome, Brandy Rome Gros and Michael Kraemer; and great-grandchildren, Kortney Carter, Romy Bruce, Shawn Rome and Seth Rome.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Joseph Boudreaux; parents, Louis Penney and Blanche Curole Penney; sisters, Mabel Penney and Dorothy Fritz; brothers, Walter Penney, Milton Penney, William Penney and David Penney; and two infant boys.

Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, April 13, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. at the church with entombment at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling, La.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
