January 18, 2010Doris Teresa Brown Picou, 83, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010 at 3 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Chris A. Picou; daughter, Kathy Benoit; sister, Daisy Riley; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy I. Picou; brother, Mickey Brown; sister, Rita Van Seriden; and one granddaughter.
She was a parishioner of St. Francis Church.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Falgout Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis II Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
