Dorothy Theresa Valure Bagley Strange, 64, a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA. and resident of Houma, LA., died at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2007.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

She is survived by her companion, Daniel “Danny” Belanger of Houma; four sons, John Bagley, Steve Bagley and wife, Rachel, Joseph Strange and wife, Becky, and Heston Strange of Houma; two daughters, Sharon Neal and husband, Barry, and Holly Billiot and husband, Kyle, of Houma; four brothers, H.P. Valure, David Valure, Ricky Valure of Houma and Anthony “T-Joe” Valure of Mansfield, LA.; two sisters, Catherine Pellegrin and Gladys Burton of Houma; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Valure and Ruth Dryden Valure.

She was a member of East Park Ladies Auxiliary and T.O.P.S.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
