Dorothy Johnson, 80, a native of Jeanerette, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012.
Mrs. Johnson was an elementary school teacher for the St. Mary Parish school system for 32 years.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Johnson; daughter, Claudia Johnson; and grandchildren, Monique and Terrance Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Sr. and Lillie Wesley.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at St. Peter United Methodist Church in Jeanerette with services to follow. Burial will be at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette. (Jones)
