Dudley “Tony” Labat, 70, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2010 after a long battle with cancer.


Mr. Labat served his country as a member of the U.S. Army and worked for several local establishments including Harrah’s Casino, New Orleans Fairgrounds, Sweet Williams and Fat Jimmy’s.


He is survived by his brother, Rickey (Marion) Labat; sons, Ralph and Mark Tramontana; daughters, Rochelle Labat and Toni Labat-Moore; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Essie Labat.

A private burial was held in Raceland.
