May 6, 2010Dwight Edwin Johnson, 72, a native of Swedonia, Ill., and resident of Houma, La., died 2:40 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010.
Mr. Johnson was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He owned Industrial Products Manufacturing for 20 years. A Navy veteran, he served during the Cold War as an aviation electronics technician 2nd Class, and received the Good Conduct Medal.
He is survived by his wife, Carlene Ann Jackson; sons, Dwight Jr. (Edith), Billy and Dwayne (Kelly), Tracy (Holly), and Jaime (Sheila) Johnson; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Ina Ladner.
Mr. Johnson is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
