Earl “Kermit” Hough, 93, a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012.

Mr. Hough was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and all-around outdoorsman who enjoyed his annual hunting trips to Colorado. He served as master mason of Unity Lodge 267 and was an honorary past master of Terrebonne Fellowship Lodge 481 and Walter I. Lanier Lodge 307. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma.


He is survived by his wife, Lorina Hough; daughter, Joy (Wilson) Domangue; brother, Marshall Hough; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Hough; parents, Walter and Jodi Hough; sister, Sybil Hough; and brothers, Clinton, H.C., Curtis and Atone Hough.

Interment was at Terrebonne Memorial Park. (Falgout)
