Earl Joseph Rock Jr., a native of Morgan City, La., a native and lifelong resident of Berwick, La., died at his home last week.

A simple, prayerful man, Mr. Rock was Catholic. He was a jokester, and loved drawing, riding his motorbikes, classic rock music and cooking.


He is survived by daughters, Carissa Rock of Berwick, Sarah Elliot of Morgan City, and Lacey Fabre of Amelia; son, Claiborne Fabre of Amelia; brothers, Brad (Tricia) of Amelia, and Brock Rock of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and sister, Priscilla (James) Cooley of DeRidder, La.; soul-mate, Donna Fabre; three grandchildren, Ryan Boudreaux, Jeremy II and Peyton Godeaux; nephews, Brandon Rock and Jared Cooley; and niece, Jana Cooley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice Pennison and Earl Joseph Rock Sr.; and brother, Chris Rock.

Arrangements were entrusted to Twin City Funeral Home.
