Lafourche Parish committee formed to fix jail woes

Eddie Raymond Rago Sr., 91, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, April 6.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Guidry Rago; son, Eddie Raymond Rago Jr. and wife, Dorothy “Dot”; grandchildren, Ann Bourgeois and Bonnie Loker and husband, Brad; and great-grandchildren, Lane Bourgeois, Madison Loker, Matthew Loker and Miles Loker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Rago and Juliette Trosclair; and his grandchild’s husband, Bryant Bourgeois.
He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 1099 in Napoleonville and an usher for St. Joseph Co-Cathedral for many years.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux with mass to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
