Edna Breaux Uzee, 91, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Lockport, La., died Monday, August 11, at 8:15 a.m.


She is survived by her son, Atney R. Uzee, Jr.; daughters, Janice Tudury, Gay O’Neal and Lynne Folse; sister, Rena Watts; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Atney Raymond Uzee, Sr.; parents, Abel Breaux Sr. and Ida Verrett Breaux; brothers, Abel Breaux, Jr. and Paul Breaux; sisters, Olga Dalrymple and Elma Gaudet; and one grandchild.

She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, August 22, at Holy Savior Catholic Church with a memorial service to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of the arrangements.
