Local lawmakers’ pre-filings a mixed bag
March 25, 2010Edward Jules Comeaux Jr., 72, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
Mr. Comeaux was a parishioner of St. Genevieve Church. He was retired from M&L Machine Inc.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rosa Simoneaux Comeaux; sons, Edward III (Darlene), Glynn (Deedy), Craig (Marie) and Corey (Sharla) Comeaux; brother, Donald “Dutz” Comeaux; sisters, Laura Lee Froisy and Jo Ann Robloff; one stepsister Joyce Haydel; and five grandchildren, Ben, Brooklyn, Josh, Caroline and Dakota Comeaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward J. Comeaux Sr. and Catherine Bourgeois Comeaux Kraemer; and stepfather, Didier Z. Kraemer.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Genevieve Church are appreciated.
Visitation will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday, March 22, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at the church.
He will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
