Edward Joseph Duet, 83, a native of Galliano, La., and a resident of Larose, La., died Thursday, April 3, at 10:17 a.m.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandra and husband Ronald Cheramie, Mary Ann Duet and Nona Mullican; brother, Terrance Duet; grandchildren, Hope and husband Robert Adams, Angela and husband Wade Rousse, Sandi and husband Davy Orgeron and Chad Duet; and great-grandchildren, Dane and Trudy Adams and Hailey Orgeron.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Breaux Duet; parents, Ernest and Nocia Guidry Duet; brother, Ernest Duet; and sisters, Sourita Griffin and Oreka Esponge.
He was Catholic.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Larose with mass to follow. He will be buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
