Edward “J.C.” Robinson, 71, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Gray, La., died at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010.
Mr. Robinson was a member of First Baptist Church and a retired welder.
He is survived by his daughter, Angell (Lloyd) Coleman; sons, Jeffery (Jermaine), Stanley (Laurie) and Kenny Sr. (Veronica) Ward and Terry (Samantha), Corey (Carla) and Chris (Yolanda) Robinson; stepson, Roosevelt “Chuck” Ward; 30 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence “Footie” Robertson; sisters-in-law, Victoria Robertson, Nettie Ceaser and Lois Reynolds; brother-in-law, Edmond Reynolds; godchild, Randy “KeKe” Brown; and “good cousin”, Rosetta Jackson Brown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Reynolds Robinson; parents, Edward and Emily Jackson Robinson; stepson, Everett “Al” Lee Ward; four brothers, Webster, Jimmy, Earl and Marvin Robinson; four sisters, Elodie Lawson, Norma Jean Bolden, Clara Dell Walls and Zella Landry; one grandson, Kortez Brown; and his maternal grandparents, Roland and Lily Jackson.
He is buried at First Baptist Church Cemetery.
