Tourney gives teams early look at competition
December 29, 2009Egnolia Authement Dupre, 89, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., died at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009.
She is survived by her son, Faron Dupre; daughter, Nell Ledet; brothers, Harry, Willard and Eugene Authement; sisters, Bridgett LeBouef and Viona Lapeyrouse; one grandson; three granddaughters; 16 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilsey Dupre; parents, Evest and Emily Trahan Authement; daughters, Anna, Corliss and Merrill Dupre; son-in-law, Gerald Ledet; brothers, Andrew, Harvey, Magnus, Felton and Herman Authement; sisters, Leona Martin and Aggie Picou; one grandson, Marty Ledet; and two granddaughters, Pamela Ledet and infant granddaughter.
Mrs. Dupre is buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Montegut.
