Eldridge “Mickey” Daniel Schaubhut, 90, a native and resident of Des Allemands, La., died Tuesday, May 19.


He is survived by his wife, Mabel Champange Schaubhut; four sons, Steven and wife, Beverly, Edward “Jimmy” and wife, Doris, Barry Schaubhut, and Brian and wife, Clair Schaubhut; two daughters, Sue Champange and husband, Wayne, and Margo Tastet and husband, Russell; one brother, Edward Schaubhut; two sisters, March Dufrene and Joyce Donnaud; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Elizabeth Champange Schaubhut; one brother, Anthony Schaubhut; and two sisters, Deane Folse and Iris Lunk.

He was a parishioner of St. Gertrude Catholic Church and retired from Texaco.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands, La. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
