Flood protection to sediment boosts initiatives
November 21, 2011Eleanor Pitre LeBlanc, 92, a native of Cut Off, La., and resident of Larose, La., died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Dantin, Frances (Michael) Waguespack and Anna (Patrick) Eymard; sisters, Doris Thibodeaux and Mildred Wade; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis LeBlanc; parents, Felix and Julienne Pitre; daughter, Evelyn Bourgeois; brothers, Eroche, Abraham and Linwood Pitre; and sisters, Norma David, Delores Pitre and Eureka Theriot.
Burial was at Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
