Elizabeth “Ms. Bet” Smith Jones, 82, a native and resident of Morgan City, La., died Thursday, April 21, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert Jones Sr.; sons, Herbert Jr. (Tamara), LLoyd and Troy Jones; daughters, Tessie (Calvin) and Wanda (Henry) Brown, Rose Harvey, Sandra (Raymond), Mary (Ronald), Tena (Troy) and Constance Jones, Gwendolyn Grogan and Gina (Clemous) Mingo; stepsister, Noonie (Sidney) Raymond; 44 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Edna Smith.
She is buried at Greenwood Cemetery. (Jones)
