Elizabeth “Betty” Redfearn Rivet, 84, a native of Mount Vernon, Wa. And resident of Lockport, La. died Sunday, December 16, 2007, at 6:35 p.m.
She is survived by her two sons, J. Fred Rivet and Eddie Rivet III and his wife Tina; three daughters, Constance Sullivan and her husband Jerry, Patricia Bourg and her husband Brooksy, and Judy Boudreaux; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Redfearn; her second husband, Dr. Edward Rivet; three brothers, John, Alistair, and James Hutchison; and one sister, Mary Banks.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 20, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Mathews, La.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
