Ella Breaux Ledet

Ella Breaux Ledet, 87, a native of Gheens, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died on Thursday, June 24, 2010.

She is survived by her sons, Ronnel (Cynthia), Chester Jr. (Jenell) and Buddy Ledet; son-in-law, Junius Chiasson; daughters, Julie (Carroll Jr.) Legendre, Onita (Frank) Ford; brothers, Nolan “Black” and Roland “Te-Nah” Breaux; sisters, Mildred “Meloo” Breaux, Clara “Putchie” Bergeron; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester J. Ledet Sr.; parents, Pierre and Leonise Falgout Breaux; daughters, Judy Ledet Chiasson and Trudy Ledet; brothers, Lawrence “Te-Law”, Leon, Charles and Roy “White” Breaux; sisters, Agnes and Irene Breaux and Louise Perry.

She is buried at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery in Lockport, La.
