Ella Folse Ledet, 97, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011.
She is survived by her children, Jackie (Ernest) Perque, Ronnie (Gail) Ledet, Paulette (Lynn) Landry and Diane (Joachim) Amedee; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Ledet; daughter, Janus Clement; parents, Pierre and Alice Folse; sisters, Lovencenea Vort, Lorieda Brown and Lena and Louvenia Robichaux; and brothers, Justillian, Adolf, Lovency, Uzee and Sidney Folse.
Burial was at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. (Thibodaux)
