Elmer Chauvin Jr.

Elmer Anthony Chauvin Jr., 68, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010.

Mr. Chauvin was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycling with the Houma Hog Chapter.

He is survived by his companion, Elodie “Dee” Pruett; daughters, Renee and Heather Chauvin, and Erica (Jason) Magee; and brother, Keith (Mary) Chauvin; one grandchild, Brittany Elizabeth Chauvin; and one great-grandchild, Brayden James Plaisance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Sr. “Nam” and Annie LaRussa Chauvin.

He is buried at Terrebonne Memorial Park.
