Elmer Hadley, 68, a native of Raceland, LA. and resident of Avondale, LA., died Wednesday, March 07, 2007.


Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland.


He is survived by four sisters, Annie Lee Scott and husband, Clifton of Raceland; Evola Pinkney, and Agnes Marts of Los Angles, Calif. and Susie M. Davenport of Compton, Calif.; two brothers, Clarence Hadley of Houma, LA. and Leroy Hadley of Atlanta, GA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Fannie Hadley; three brothers, Willie Hadley Sr., Ulysses Hadley and Kent Hadley Sr.; two sisters, Delores Jones and Enester Hadley.

He was Baptist.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
