Elmer Royal Pearce, 67, a native of Lulu, Fla., and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011.


Mr. Pearce was a member of First Baptist Church of Napoleonville. He worked with Otis Engineering (Halliburton) and Eagle Consultants which took him to many parts of the world. He had a love of history and genealogy.


He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Pearce; son, Chad (Kimberly) Pearce; brother, Marion Pearce; sisters, Ivalene Croft and Alvina Blankenship; and step-grandchild, Mitchell Pate.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlys and Nancy Pearce; and daughter, Zandra Pearce.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Chauvin Funeral Home with services to follow. (Chauvin)
