Elmore “T-Sooke” Joseph Naquin, 82, a native and a resident of Pointe-Aux-Chenes, Louisiana, died June 27, 2014.

Mr. Naquin was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was an international speed radio operator for the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War; a retiree of Texaco; and a retiree of Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries. He was a past member and president of the Montegut Children’s Carnival Club; a past member of the Montegut Lions Club; and a current member of the American Legion Post 272 and VFW Post 7755. A loving husband, father and grandfather, family was the center of Mr. Naquin’s life.


He is survived by
his wife, Mary Ann Naquin;
sons, Randy Sr. and Bryant (Mica) Naquin; daughters, Vicki (Elgy) Guidry and Kathy Mitchell; brother, Thomas Naquin; sisters, Lelia (Emray) Naquin, Hilda (Eugene) Naquin; sister-in-law, Bessy Naquin; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mr. Naquin was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Laura Dupre Naquin; brother, Reynold Naquin; sisters, Kable Cunningham and Della Naquin; son-in-law, Jerry Mitchell; and grandchild, Lynn Guidry.

Burial will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.
