Feinberg promises improvement for claimants

January 24, 2011Elodia Naquin Dardar, 86, a native and resident of Isle of Jean Charles, La., died at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Jessie Sr., Edison Sr., Gillis Sr., Levis, Dominique Jr. “Dominick” and Tommy Dardar; six daughters, Oxcelia Naquin, Mary LeBouef, Ann Mitchell, Bernadette Naquin, Norma Chaisson and Betty Chauvin; 51 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; and 33 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominique Dardar Sr.; parents, Leo and Alcidie Billiot Naquin; son, Leroy Dardar; daughter, Delina Guidry; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Esnay Dardar and Rita Chaisson.
She is buried at Rogers Cemetery.
