March 2, 2010Elsie Pinell Dupre, 91, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, La., died at 10:20 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2010.
She is survived by sons, Anthony, Eldrick and Ernest Dupre; daughter, Linda Ford; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Sr. and Edna Chauvin Pinell; grandchild, Vickie Dupre; brothers, Wilbert and Ernest Pinell Jr.; and sisters, Mary Rhodes, Oreana and Zelma Pinell.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, March 3, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at noon at the church.
She will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Falgout Funeral Homes of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
