Elvire Cheramie Rodrigue, 90, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Sunday, September 28.
She is survived by her son, Mervin “Vin” Rodrigue; daughters, Doris R. Guidry, Linda R. Foret and Elene R. Martin; brother, Gustave Cheramie; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rodrigue; parents, Joseph and Eugeline Bychurch Cheramie; brother, Clifton Cheramie; and sisters, Ella Mae Arceneaux and Angela Leonard.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. too 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with mass to follow. She will be buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
