Emelda L. Bruce, 66, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Sunday, June 21.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Bruce; father, Joseph Lorraine Jr. and companion Joyce Danos; son, Jad Bruce and wife Serena; daughters, Cindy Walker and husband James “Pat” Walker Sr., and Dena Bruce; brother, Michael Lorraine and wife Sandra; and grandchildren, James Walker Jr. and Carlie Williams.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha C. Lorraine; and daughter, Cathy Bruce.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, La. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, and 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano with burial to follow at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
