Thibodaux church finds its place after 10-year expansion

Emile Joseph Jaccuzzo, 91, a native of Italy and resident of Houma, La., died at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010.

He was a retired farmer and rancher. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral and a past member of the Cattleman’s Association and the Appaloosa Horse Club.


He is survived by his daughter, Marlene Jaccuzzo; son, Gerald Jaccuzzo; sister, Betty J. Pellegrino; numerous nieces and nephews; and two special friends and caregivers, Phillip Smith and Joanna Landry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Brien Jaccuzzo; parents, Joseph and Rose Catanese Jaccuzzo; brothers, Johnnie and Dr. James Jaccuzzo; and sister, Mamie Jaccuzzo.
