Emma Lea Marie Lottinger, 96, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:40 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2010.


Ms. Lottinger was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She worked as a bank teller and legal secretary, she volunteered at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Rectory and at Terrebonne General Medical Center. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, she belonged to the Legion of Mary and was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She joined her friends in the Barr-Berry Garden Club. She hula hooped on her 80th birthday.

She is survived by one brother, Allen (Colette) Lottinger; and her nieces and nephews, Robert Jr., Richard Sr., Catherine, David, and Philip Lottinger, Marsha Grow, Daniel and Allen Lennep, Ann Taylor, Lilla Marie Lottinger, Lisa Cuccia, Lauren Clark, Allen Lottinger Jr. and Amy Church.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Philip Lottinger and Emma Marie Landry Lottinger; two brothers, Judge Robert Lottinger Sr. and Lee Lottinger Jr.; one sister, Ruth Lottinger Lennep; and one nephew, John Francis Lottinger.

She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral No. 1.
