Erica Maria “Big Tank” Celestin, 28, a native of Terrebonne, La., and a resident of Chauvin, La., died at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2008.


She is survived by her mother, Sharon Celestin; her father, Floyd Celestin; her stepfather, James Ellis Jr.; her fiancé, Latronce Scott; her children, Joey, Taylor, Tyre, Cameron, Deonte, Iyana and Serenity; sisters, Jamie Ellis of Houma, La., Charlotte Celestin, Khadijah Johnson, Kaylan Johnson, Yasmaine Johnson, Kyla Johnson, Zykiesha Johnson, Unique Johnson and Karrah Parker, all of Morgan City, La., Candance Celestin of Houston, Tx., and Dominique Lawrence of Baton Rouge, La.; four brothers, Muhammed Celestin of Houston, Akeem Johnson, Kademm Johnson and Kendall Johnson, all of Morgan City; and her grandmother, Rosie Bea Hampton of Houma.


She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Allen L. Hampton, Oneita Celestin and Charles Celestin.

She was a member of Eagle Wright Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, at Eagle Wright Baptist Church in Gray, La. with funeral services to follow. Burial will be at Halfway Cemetery.

Getrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
