Erie J. Landry, 81, a native and resident of Chackbay, La., died Friday, August 15.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Rodrigue Landry; two sons, Larson and Wesley Landry; four daughters, Sundae Holm, Muriel Pike, Lona Sloan and Daphne Schexnayder; three brothers, Valey Landry, Leo Landry and Wilson Landry Jr.; one sister, Una Rodrigue; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Landry Sr. and Viola Legendre Landry; one brother, Jae Dee Landry; and one sister, Rena Rodrigue.
He was buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery in Chackbay.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
