Ernest Joseph Sr., 92, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011.
Mr. Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Lions Club. He was Baptist.
He is survived his sons, Ejerial, Ronald, Eric, Michael, Ernest Jr. and Charles Joseph; daughters, Joyce, Brenella, Freda, Pamela, Charlie, Gail and Diannlynn Joseph; brothers, Jessie, Alcy, Charles and Warren Joseph; sister, Rose Reed; 48 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Joseph; parents, Clarence Joseph Sr. and Cornelia Harris; sons, Stanley and Ernest Joseph; brothers, AJ and Clarence Joseph Jr.; and sister, Thelma Lewis.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2011 at Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Kennedy)
