Ernest (Paran) Enos Solet, 51, a native and resident of Dulac, La., died Saturday, September 13.


He is survived by his devoted friend, Kevin Dupre; former wife, Juanita A. Lacobon; sons, Jansen and Lamar Solet, and Ernest and Trey Luke; step-son, Maurin Guidry Jr.; daughter, Reba Albert; brothers, Colvin, Danny, Maurice and Dave Solet; sister, Carolyn Ponder; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice J. and Laura Mae Billiot Solet; and brothers, Archie and Paul Solet.


He worked for Barry’s House Leveling.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help the family with funeral expenses.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, September 18, at Falgout Funeral Home’s chapel with the funeral to follow Thursday. He will be buried at St. Francis II Cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
