Tillman talks Terrebonne, reflects on vital three terms

September 8, 2011Ernest Shanklin, 78, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011.
Mr. Shanklin was Baptist.
He is survived by his brothers, Samuel (Eva), Zachary and Eulas Shanklin; and sisters, Carrie (Louis) Woods, Patricia, Vera, Joyce and Esther (Gary) Peltier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Sr. and Esther Shanklin; brothers, Charles and Earl Shanklin; and sisters, Mable and Madeline Jackson.
Burial was at Moses Baptist Church Cemetery. (Kennedy)
