Luncheon to recognize area’s foster parents; More adults needed to provide homes to youths

Estelle Mary Boudreaux Dupre, 77, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La. and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:02 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Annunziata Catholic Church. Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.


She is survived by her husband, Herbert Dupre Sr. of Houma; three sons, Wayne Dupre and wife, Charlotte, Herbert Dupre Jr. and wife, Pat, of Houma and Wade Dupre and wife, Connie, of Maurice, La.; three daughters, Wanda LeBlanc and husband, Daniel, of Bayou Blue, La., Aleda Blanchard and husband, Tim, of Orlando, Fla., and Linda Breaux and husband, Royce, of Raceland, La.; one brother, Bruce Boudreaux of Loveland, Colo.; two sisters, Norma Hebert of Houma and Anna Boudreaux of Irving, Tx.; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Boudreaux Sr. and Aleda Carlos Boudreaux; two brothers, Carroll Boudreaux Jr. and Curtis Boudreaux Sr.; and one sister, Doris Boudreaux.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Ladies Altar Society and a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
