Eugene “Gene” Thomas Suire, 74, a native of Erath, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, January 14, 2008, at 8:06 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Robichaux Suire; two daughters, Susan Touchet and Kecia Ruby; one son, Thomas Jude Suire; seven grandchildren, Nicholas Clayton, Leigha Clayton, Francesca Touchet, Tatum Ruby, Emily Suire, Corbin Suire and Beau Suire; his loving dog, Pippi; and his horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theophile Suire and Naomie Vice Suire; three brothers, infant baby brother, Edward Suire and Dr. Leroy Suire; and his loving dog, Muffin.
Eugene was a retired petroleum engineer with Halliburton and a member of Louisiana Breeder Association. He was also a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
He was buried in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
