Eva Poiencot Prestenbach, 86, a native and resident of Houma, La. died Tuesday, November 13, 2007.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Prestenbach and his wife Marjorie and Rickey Prestenbach; four daughters, Diana Hodge, Laura O’quinn and her husband Jerry, Mary Breaux and her husband Carroll, and Sheren Talbot and her husband Glynn; one brother, Vergis Poiencot; one sister, Virgin Rodrigue; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nave Prestenbach; her parents, Henry and Edna Bergeron Poiencot; one son-in-law, Wayne Hodge; four brothers, Raymond, Abner, Lloyd, and Harvey Poiencot; and two sisters, Henriella Bourg and Edna Hudson.
Eva is buried in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Houma.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
